Okay, it’s Wednesday, so I’m two days late in posting….
But still have things on the heart to share, to give back, in the humblest of ways, to my God who gives more than I deserve.
#13-#25:
#13 … that while I was yet a sinner, He still loved me
#14… for mercies that are new every morning
#15… for a God that is slow in anger and abounding in love
#16… that His arms are not too short to reach down to this world
#17… that He inclines His ears to hear each call, each cry, each laugh
#18… that He cares about the little birds, and so cares that much more for me
#19… that he calls the littlest of these to Him
#20… that He forgives as far as the East is from the West
#21… that He can turn ashes into beauty
#22… that He can transform me, made from dust, into something beautiful
#23… that every good thing is from Him up above
#24… that He offers me Life, not just any life, but Abundant Life
#25… so thankful that there is absolutely nothing I can do to earn any of this… that my God may take glory in who He is and what He gives and what He does… I cannot earn it, nor do I deserve it…any of it… it is all a gift.

And it’s fine that you’re late in posting, even though it’s Thursday I’m still reading the lists. I heart these lists. And now I come to yours … And because I am so convinced that we can only love because he IS love – and we can only choose good and do it because HE IS THE GOOD – and we only live at all because HE LIVES – my favorite from your list is #23… that every good thing is from Him up above
