It’s that time of week again: Five Minute Friday! From the GypsyMama’s website, here are the instructions:

Got five minutes? Let’s write. Let’s write in shades of real and brave and unscripted.
Let’s just write and not worry if it’s just right or not.

1. Write for 5 minutes flat for pure unedited love of the written word.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. Go buck wild with encouragement for the five minuter who linked up before you.

Today’s Topic: When Seasons Change

GO

There is a time and season for everything, a time to laugh and a time to cry; a time for rejoicing, a time for weeping, a time to be born, a time to die, a time to give, and a time to receive….

We move through seasons of life– when trials and troubles churn our souls, and also when we have seasons of joy.As we grow, we move from childhood to adulthood, with accompanying growth along the way. Each season has it’s own sign, it’s own characteristics, and each season prepares us for the next one.

Our lives are like the seasons around us– inevitably, the change will come, all because of the grace of God.

One thing is certain, through the rhythms of life,  no matter what a particular difficult winter or harsh season may throw our way– and that is, that God never changes, throughout it all. That itself gives me hope, as I expectantly wait, and live and move through cycles of life.
