Hi friends!!

I’m hopping on today to let you know to join me on Facebook Live tomorrow (April 30) and May 7 for some poetry! In honor National Poetry Month, a friend of mine (Melanie Weldon-Soiset) and I are joining together to read some poems from Harlem Renaissance poet Georgia Douglas Johnson. We’ll be reading her poetry and poems we wrote in response. Her poems contain the themes of belonging and identity–and it’s a JOY to talk about!! I hope you’ll join us, at 11am CT/12 pm ET– I’d love to see you!

Also, a couple of recent speaking events:

On April 14, I joined Connie Jakab of BRAVE Tribe to talk about belonging (on her Instagram Live). You can find that here: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CNq0dWMJ7fc/?igshid=1s3n27wa2w57

On April 10, I was honored to join a group of local women to talk about belonging and identity, the Becoming Collective group in Cedarburg, for a lovely afternoon of sharing!

I’ve got a couple more announcements coming in the next couple of months, and I’m so excited! I’ll be sending off my first newsletter soon, so please subscribe by May10 to get the first issue. I can’t wait to share some lovely articles and words that I hope will encourage and inspire you.
